Baseball Practice

There is often a little league baseball team practice going on at the elementary school at the end of the street. When Chris is getting home late from work I am always desperate to keep this boy entertained! Lately, every night this has happened it's been baseball practice day! Chris is sad he has never been home to take him. Tonight I looked down the street and said to John Reid "I see the baseball coach's truck." He quickly started pointing and saying his version of "baseball" then fell into a puddle of water I had just created watering the front flower pots. So, we ran upstairs and I changed him into his new baseball PJ's. He even wanted his baseball hat on so he really looked the part. I didn't get many photo because the sun was in a bad spot.

In other news John Reid's love for the pool has grown even more! Today he was jumping into the water toward me without any hesitation. His early (pool) season jitters seem long gone.

Also, I had my 23 week doctors visit today.  The doctor and nurse both commented again on what a mover he is! This kid seems to always be moving, he even wakes me up at night! Last night I woke up and put my hand on my belly to calm the kid down and could clearly feel a knee or elbow! How amazing is the creation of life?!?
