We had a great traditional American weekend full of baseball, burgers, pool time and the annual Branagh cookout. Friday night Chris wanted to take John Reid to the Fort Worth Cats game. All three of us really enjoyed the game at LaGrave Field. We told John Reid the night before that we were going and when we woke up Friday morning and asked him what we were doing tonight he said "CATS"
We ventured out to the kids area that is really just a huge sand beach. We were thankful John Reid wasn't too into the very dirty sand. There was a group of young boys playing baseball he was much more interested in.
This is John Reid's new chair... his little brother! Hopefully this stops when baby brother comes out of my belly and into the world!
Father and son enjoying the game.
Great downtown view
And an old time score board!
This is John Reid before we left for the game practicing his swing
4th of July morning with the Thompson's little girl, Livy Anne. John Reid loved the parade and finally got to see a "neigh-neigh" (horse) up close.
We spent the afternoon at the pool. What is the 4th without watermelon?
Noah, Ellis and John Reid at the Branagh's front door watching their daddys play washers and fill up the kid pool.
John Reid and his Meggie (as he calls her). Shortly after this picture was taken Megan saved John Reid from a bad spill down the brick stairs. He still got cut up and endured his first visual injury not on his face. So, we learned what a "boo-boo" is and he has been talking about it ever since.
