Christmas

Long overdue Christmas pictures. We had a great holiday and got to see all of our family! Christmas morning we had a wonderful time celebrating Christ's birth with our sweet family of 4! Above is a picture taken at Leddy's in the Stockyards. Whenever my parents come in town we always enjoy our great Cowtown.

Benjamin's turn

In front of the Stockyard Christmas Tree

Benjamin's big gift was a play kitchen. I know it may seem like a "girl" toy, but believe me, there are enough boy toys in this house to go around! I wanted a play kitchen in our kitchen so the boys could play along side me, as I seem to spend most of my time preparing food for these hunger boys! We thought this picture was priceless. It seems as John Reid left his helmet (one of his Christmas gifts) on the counter on purpose to say "I might be playing kitchen, but I'm still a man!"

John Reid with a Sooner jersey and TCU eye black. Yes, those are real football shoulder pads and he did not take them off on Christmas day. Including nap time.

John Reid dresses himself before he comes downstairs each morning. Christmas morning, he put on his OU hat. This is his reaction as he looks at what Santa brought him for the first time. HIs big gift? A pair of soccer cleats he had drooled over for months!

Benjamin the new Lego Duplo table. Thanks Grandma and Papa

Chris and I took John Reid on a Christmas date. This is before we headed to "The Club" (John Reid's restaurant of choice) and to see the play Rodolph

Grandma, Papa and Uncle Chase came to visit the week before Christmas.

Breakfast with Charlie Brow at the Gaylord Texan

We call Benjamin Linus (minus the blanket this day) and Charlie was mimicking him!

John Reid wasn't too crazy about a life sized Charlie Brown (although the movie is his absolute favorite), but the chocolate fountain was a hit!

I was able to make 2 batches of Santa Cookies this year.
My grandmother started this family tradition over 50 years ago!
