Quote of the Day

When I was in college my friend Megan and I backpacked through Europe and this picture is one of the priceless souvenirs I came home with. If I remember correctly we got at Dachue, a Concentration Camp outside Munich. I recently put this frame on a side table in the Living Room. John Reid and I had never talked about it until today...

I was sitting on the chair near the picture rocking Benjamin and John Reid said

"That's Baby Jesus (pointing to Jesus) playing football (pointing to the water container) with him (pointing to John The Baptist)"

LOL! What an awesome opportunity to tell my son about the miracle of Jesus and His baptism. I just know that 7 years ago when I bought this picture on the other side of the world, God knew it would one day be a tool to tell one of his precious children about His great love!

And as a bonus quote of the day I am presently listening to John Reid sing to himself

"Tinkle, Tinkle little star..."

(He learned yesterday at church that God made the stars and watches over him while he sleeps and they sung "Twinkle, Twinkle." Just a small little mix up)
