Big Week

We moved! Oh, I am so very grateful for the blessing of a new home. I must admit I was VERY sad to leave our first home. (If you are interested, ask me about the emotional episode of tearing down the porch swing!) Although we've only been here a few days, it already feels like home. John Reid has transitioned great and is enjoying more space to crawl, pull up and cruise around! Thanks to our mom's, who have both made trips down to help, John Reid didn't miss out on a minute of attention. Thanks to our dear friends The Branaghs, The Thompsons and The Phillips finishing up the move was made easy! Thanks to the Kupers who loving helped from San Antonio by sending us pizza for dinner. And thanks to my wonderful husband who hates boxes lying around, we have managed to unpack almost all of them!
For those of you who have asked, our new address is:
2528 Shirley Ave
Fort Worth, Tx. 76109
Move week was made even bigger with John Reid's first encounter with Santa. One of John Reid's friend from music class was born very premature. His parents hosted the first annual benefit party Saturday morning at The Fort Worth Club, Breakfast with St. NICUlas. It was just great, kid friendly food, activities and entertainment. Then Sunday we went on the Polar Express Train in Grapevine! Santa was there too! He defiantly doesn't love the strange guy in a red suite, but so far he has tolerated him.

So glad you all are in before Christmas - that must feel great! I must say, I love that only in TX do you find Christmas outfits that are made into shorts! We are in the snow and freezing cold up here, but loving it. Love and miss you all. Can't wait to see the new place our next trip down.
