7 Month Comparison

Benjamin is now 7 months old! At his 6 months appointment he was 1 lb and 1in smaller than John Reid at 6 months. Given Benjamin was 5 weeks early so I guess time will tell. People are saying more and more "He looks like John Reid."

Lately we have been calling Benjamin 'Henny.' I know it's weird but it's just stuck. Chris LOVES Fort Worth and all it's history including the great golfer Ben Hogan. Apparently Ben called himself "Henny Bogan" sometimes and Chris saying it a few times got John Reid and I saying it too. The best way to describe Henny is Happy. His favorite thing to do it watch his brother or any other kid near by. Once he finishes eating he is very sad that feeding time is over so I quickly get John Reid to come near him and his frown soon turns upside down. He giggles ALL THE TIME and loves rolling and pushing up on his arms while on his belly. He is getting closer to sitting up. His tummy muscles were mildly effected by the fluid he had in his belly, so the doctor says he'll get the hang of it soon. He's not a big fan of solid food but we are still working on it! I have a great video of the two boys playing together I hope to get up soon.
