I had a very interesting experience this week at a new grocery store. To give you a feel for the place, they asked if I would be paying in Food Stamps. One of, if not the only highlights of the trip was a very cheap bottle of wine I found.

This was a snapshot of our dinner table discussion last night...

John Reid: "Mom, what's that red special drink you've got?"

Me: "This? This my dear (with a bit of pride in my voice) is Mommy's $3 glass of wine"

John Reid: " And this is my $4 cup of milk" (mimicking the pride)
