Some of you have asked how the potty training weekend went. I am very happy to report that is was a success! John Reid gave his diaper to baby Benjamin and was able to play big boy Potty Baseball. Now, his accidents are very few and far between and I'm only putting diapers on one little boy bottom :)
The idea of Potty Baseball was to put potty in the potty in order to move to the next base. Base advancement got him a M&M and a run gave him a trip to the potty basket for a prize. Once he had scored many runs (really just when we felt he had it the potty thing down) he got to go to a special store to pick out a big prize. He chose the TCU Boookstore (yes, over ToysRUs!) and picked out TCU golf balls!

Em - Might I suggest a page break separation between potty discussion and photo of whatever is on Benjamin's face.

Dad- I value your suggestion, however I believe there should be a clause to Uncle Joe's TIL's. "Parents of young children are excluded from the notion that one should avoid 'unsparkling conversation.'
