Quick Update

I've planned to post a July update and suddenly it's 1/2 way through August. This week John Reid has his 18 month well check and I have my 32 week appointment that includes a routine sono. So, I should have more recent news soon! John Reid is showing us everyday that he is closer to being a 2 year old toddler than a 1 year old baby. Everywhere I go strangers make comments to me about how HUGE my belly is and how close I must be to delivering. When I reply I have 9 weeks to go (that was last week) their mouth drops and they suggest I'm having twins! My doctor prepared me at my last appointment that this sono will most likely reveal another large baby so we'll just have to see!

In July we made quick weekend trips to Tyler and OKC. In Tyler (Grand Saline) we spent the afternoon at pool at Chris' grandparents house. Grandad-O (age 82) still dives into his pool 2-3 times a day. John Reid had a blast swimming with his Great Grandfather and showing the family his swimming skills. In OKC we celebrated my Grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and enjoyed time with family we don't see often.

The end of July John Reid finished up "Summer School" that included Swim Class and Music Class. He loved both. Music class brought out a love for dancing. Daily, John Reid says "I Pod. Dance." We turn on music and have a Trigger Dance Party. John Reid is very serious as he creates different moves and I just look like a fool trying to bounce around with this belly! We took Swim Class at Fort Worth Family Swim School, a place I highly recommend! John Reid now has a wonderful confidence in the water.
