Benjman Trigger is here!

Emily started going into active labor last night and they decided to go ahead with the c-section to deliver Benjamin. He was born after 1 AM this morning weighing 7 lbs 2 ounces. He took his first breath on his own!!! This is great news as this was a major concern for Ben. They took Ben to the NICU where he spent the night. His belly is only a little swollen and he has already had a few bowel movements. They have begun running tests on Benjamin this morning. Basically, they have a laundry list of tests to run to determine the source of the fluid.

Emily is doing well and is back in her room from recovery. She will hopefully get out of bed later today. Emily and Chris were able to take a tour of the NICU yesterday and met the NICU doctor who is in charge of Benjamin. They will be getting alot of results from the tests today so hopefully they will know more later today/tomorrow.
