I just downloaded pictures and thought I'd post a few. Sorry they are not in a very good order! Benjamin continues to do great. He has been successfully breastfeeding yesterday and today. They are super scheduled in the NICU so I just try to make it up there for any and all feeding I can. Please pray he continues to eat well and gains weight. As always ask God to keep the fluid from returning. If all goes well we should have a coming home plan early next week.

Every time John Reid visited me at the hospital I was reminded of how bad he needed a hair cut. I would tear up when I thought about missing his first cut, so we waited until I could be there. Yes, I did have to use the Cool Cuts break room to pump but I guess this is the life with 2 little ones!

He did great!

We left things long so he doesn't look like a big boy yet.

We ran to Walmart and as usually Chris got John Reid a pack of baseball cards. He loves them and they seem to really keep his attention in the car.

Benjamin today under the lights with his tanning classes on.

This was Benjamin a few nights ago. He looks like he has a broken arm, but it's just a way to help the IV stay in. He not doesn't have an IV so the only this he is hooked to is the monitor.

This was him in the first 24 hour

While I was in the hospital John Reid started Mother's Day out. This is him at the front door. We were planning on him going 1 time a week. After talking with Benjamin's doctor, Chris and I have decided to pull John Reid from school for now. This should help with
controlling the germs that enter the house.

John Reid with Grammy and 2 teachers. He wasn't too happy at first!

This is me right before Dr. Tabor did the
amnio reduction. I was getting bigger by the day. I will spare the details (but I'm glad to share with anyone
interested, just ask) but the procedure was
incredible. Dr. Tabor is the only doctor around that would have even attempted to drain fluid from a baby in Benjamin's condition. We are so thankful!

The grandma's walking John Reid to school from our house.

The things John Reid sleeps with says a lot about him. Somehow, this night he ended up with a baseball mitt and football in addition to the regulars.

John Reid visiting Mama at the hospital. He came up almost every day and I could hear him coming down the hall saying "Mama" or "Knock-a-knock-a" or "Second base" (one day Daddy let him play baseball in the lobby) or "Big Crane" (you could see the 2 large cranes at Cook's from out window). It was so difficult to be away from my family. Thank God they are so wonderful and took care of things better than I do!

John Reid has had plenty of Grandparent time. For a few night he had 4 grandparents staying at the house with him. Oh my! Chris' dad, Myra and Uncle Chase spent Labor Day weekend in Fort Worth too! So he's had plenty of extra love. This is him watching golf with Popsy.
